Arthur B. Sackler is the former Vice President of Law and Public Policy at Time Warner, where he successfully engaged Capitol Hill and numerous federal agencies in a wide variety of legislative and regulatory matters. At Time Warner, he served on the federal government’s Industry Sector Advisory Committee on Services, was a manager of Intellectual Property (IP) issues in the Transatlantic Business Dialogue and served on the Federal Trade Commission’s Advisory Committee on Online Access and Security. Mr. Sackler has extensive experience formulating and executing effective strategies at the federal level, combined with knowledge and experience at the state level, with international organizations, and with government operations and procedures abroad in general. He was a private sector member of the U.S. delegation to the World Intellectual Property Organization Diplomatic Conference, which negotiated digital copyright treaties. An attorney, Mr. Sackler has also earned an LL.M. from Georgetown University.
