Information Tracking / Dissemination
The Kellen Company’s in-house Information Resource Center (IRC) routinely monitors for all clients hundreds of industry publications, wire services, technical and trade publications and Web sites. Specifically included among sources monitored are the Federal Register, Congressional Record, individual state regulatory registers, agency talk papers and policy announcements, technical journals and major media outlets, both domestic and international. The IRC also can track legislative and regulatory developments of interest to Kellen Company clients.
Technical, Codes & Standards Management
Kellen Company provides clients with a full range of technical services, including writing and influencing industry standards to satisfy myriad industry, governmental and consumer stakeholders. Kellen professionals are experienced at assembling affected stakeholders, navigating the ANSI/ASTM consensus process, publishing and marketing standards, and creating, testing and administering certification programs in multiple industries.
Kellen professionals have developed and currently administer dozens of industry standards. We represent clients by sitting on several ASTM standards committees and are active in meetings of safety, standards and code associations such as ANSI, CPSC, ICC, ISO, OSHA and NFPA.
For example, one of our staff serves as the Secretariat for a Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for ANSI to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Kellen professionals have also managed the coordination and development of specific testing protocols resulting in consensus standards. In addition, Kellen represents clients before scores of other stakeholders, including state and local building code officials groups, state and local homebuilder associations and building industry associations.
