Kellen Company Promotes Mardi Kutack Mountford to Vice President

ATLANTA, GA (March 26, 2012) --- Kellen Company, a global professional services company with operations in Atlanta, Beijing, Brussels, Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C., has promoted Mardi Kutack Mountford to vice president.  Mountford, who serves as executive vice president of the International Formula Council (IFC), has over 30 years of both association management and food and nutrition experience.

In her role with IFC, a trade association which represents infant formula manufacturers around the world, Mountford oversees state, federal and international legislative and regulatory issues, technical and scientific industry affairs and financial management for the organization. She also serves as an industry media spokesperson for IFC, testifying before congressional and legislative committees and acting as a liaison between food and health care associations and government agencies.

In addition to her duties for IFC, Mountford is vice president on the Governing Board of the International Special Dietary Foods Industries (ISDI), of which IFC is a member.  For over a decade she has been a member of the U.S. delegation to the Codex Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Use, which develops international foods standards.

Prior to joining Kellen Company in 1981, Mountford was a nutrition consultant for management firms in Atlanta and Boston. 

She received a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and biology from St. Andrews Presbyterian College in North Carolina, and a Master’s degree in public health, with an emphasis in nutrition, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
