KELLEN EUROPE AWARDED MANAGEMENT OF
THE EUROPEAN SOFTWARE ASSOCIATION
Brussels, Belgium (January 24, 2006)— Kellen Europe has been selected to advise, govern and create the legal/fiscal structure for the new non-profit association, the European Software Association. Located in Brussels, Kellen Europe is a division of the Kellen Company, a global professional services firm, and the premier international association management company (AMC).
The European Software Association represents more than 25 European software companies, serving as the voice of the European Independent Software Vendor (ISV) community. Its founding companies are CODA, Business Objects, Dassault Systemes, Mamut ASA, Logica CMG, SAP, and Unit 4 Agresso.
The principal mission of the association is to shape and reinforce the activities of the European software industry by working closely with European Union legislators and other industry stakeholders to become a key interface with EU institutions, media and the general public on matters impacting the software industry. The European Software Association provides EU policy makers with the information they need to deliver effective legislation for the benefit of European industry and consumers.
