The National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management
Selects Kellen Company for Full-Service Management
New York (June 9, 2005)—The Board of Directors of the National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management (HFM) announced today that it has selected Kellen Company as its full-service management company. As a result, HFM will relocate its headquarters from Washington, D.C., to Kellen Company’s offices in New York City.
Founded in 1988, HFM is the only professional society dedicated to senior independent non-contract healthcare foodservice management professionals and their suppliers.
"We have more than four decades of experience working closely with food-related organizations," said Robert C. Gelardi, Kellen Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "We look forward to applying Kellen Company’s unique understanding of the food industry and our well-established best practices in association management to assist HFM in accomplishing its goals now and in the future for the betterment of healthcare foodservice."
Carolynn R. Jennings, a Kellen Account Executive with more than 25 years experience in association management, will serve HFM as Executive Director. Holly J. Koenig, Vice President of Kellen Company, has been named HFM’s Executive Vice President.
