The Kellen Company Achieves IAAMC Accreditation as a Charter AMC
Company’s Best Practices Manual (BPM) further enhances quality

NEW YORK, NY/ATLANTA, GA (May 1, 2003) — The Kellen Company has announced today that it has achieved accreditation by the International Association of Association Management Companies (IAAMC) as a charter accredited AMC. The Kellen Company joins the ranks of 18 other AMCs that have successfully met the American National Standards Institute/IAAMC Standard of Good Practices for the Association Management Industry. Additionally, the company’s newly revised Best Practices Manual (BPM) not only meets accreditation requirements mandated by the IAAMC but further enhances The Kellen Company’s goal to be justifiably recognized as the best, most quality-, client-oriented association management company.

"This accreditation achievement clearly demonstrates that The Kellen Company is a true leader in the association management industry," says Robert C. Gelardi, chairman and CEO of the employee-owned Kellen Company. "Our Best Practices Manual supports our mission to exceed our clients’ expectations through commitment to excellence and employee-owner values."

The ANSI Standard communicates to the marketplace that the accredited AMC has demonstrated the highest commitment and the ability to deliver service to its clients through conformance to the Standard. This provides a clear advantage to associations to choose a quality firm, whether for full-service professional management or to outsource specific association services. An IAAMC-accredited AMC has invested significant time and money to meet or exceed the requirements of the only American National Standard for Association Management Companies. IAAMC accreditation is achieved when an AMC demonstrates a commitment and ability to deliver consistent, quality service to current and prospective clients. To receive accreditation, an AMC must demonstrate that it has adopted and utilizes internal quality service systems.
"The Kellen Company has always strived for quality and excellence for our clients," explains Peter Rush, president of The Kellen Company. "It is truly an honor to attain IAAMC accreditation and now it only proves what we have believed in and have demonstrated for nearly 40 years".
