Kellen Company Debuts “MiDIS” Member Engagement Solution at Great Ideas Conference
ATLANTA (March 24, 2011) –Kellen Company, a leading global professional services company, showcased its award-winning Membership Information and Demographics Intelligence System (MiDIS) at the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE) 2011 Great Ideas Conference last week in Colorado Springs, CO.
In a session presented by Kellen Company president Rick Cristol, Kellen Company account executive Frank Skinner and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers manager of membership and customer service, Ashley Pruett, CAE, attendees were given an in-depth look at Kellen’s strategic approach to member acquisition and retention, called MiDIS.
Specifically, MiDIS utilizes a personal micro portal marketing technology to immediately connect members with the benefits of most interest to them. The MiDIS system harnesses an organization’s membership demographics to provide members with highly customized communications, delivering a new level of engagement with association benefits, content and products, such as publications, education, research and events. Importantly, the approach not only offers an increase in value to members, but also a decrease in financial implications for the organization.
“This type of ‘membership 2.0 engagement’ is the direction that we see many successful organizations heading in,” said Skinner. “Innovative, personalized communication and delivering more value for less are two of the major association trends we have identified for the coming year.”
"The long-term benefits of the MiDIS marketing approach mirror our organization’s efforts to connect members with the benefits and resources they need the most. By working to improve the entire member experience it helps improve membership renewals, new member acquisition and non-dues revenue” said Pruett. “MiDIS also introduces a Web 2.0-style technology to better communicate with the next generation of members who are the future of the society.”
