Political Advisers and European Executives Will Discuss What US Associations Need to Know
Concerning Political Changes in the European Union

Washington, DC (October 29, 2009) –The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Center for Association Leadership in collaboration with Kellen Company will hold the 2009 Europe Today: What Associations Need to Know Conference on Friday, November 13, at the ASAE & The Center Building, in Washington, D.C.

Associations seeking advice and knowledge on the important changes in the European Union are invited to attend this conference free of charge.  The conference will highlight the evolving political climate in the European Union and how new policies and government will affect US associations.

Discussions will focus on European Parliament elections, the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty and the changes in working relationships with the current Obama administration.  An audio conference will be available for those who are unable to attend.

“Many changes are taking place in the European institutions which will have an effect on the new initiatives launched at the European level.
