Kellen Company Wins Top Honor in Association TRENDS All-Media Contest
New York, NY (March 5, 2010) — Kellen Company, a leading global association management company with clients representing more than 100,000 members worldwide, has received the Gold Award in the Association TRENDS All-Media Contest in the category of “Social Media – Internal Campaign.” The award was presented at the Salute to Association Excellence Event on February 23, in Washington, D.C.
Kellen Company received the contest’s highest award for its proprietary MiDIS™ micro portal system that uses advanced target marketing technology to promote membership and event growth. The MiDIS™ program was executed on behalf of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).
MiDIS™, an acronym for “Membership Information and Demographics Intelligence System,” is an innovative target marketing technology and service. It was specifically designed for associations by Kellen Company association professionals to enhance the overall membership experience by connecting people with the products and content of most interest to them. MiDIS combines product and content mapping, campaign marketing and Web 2.0 technology into a system that is completely driven by member and prospect demographic data without requiring membership database integration, which can be exceptionally costly.
