Carol Freysinger is a Vice President at Kellen Company. She provides associations with the tools for extensive growth, specializing in consensus building, leadership development, financial management, and membership services.
She has more than 13 years of experience in association management, during which time she has provided oversight as well as hands-on management of committees and boards with a focus on consensus building. She has initiated advocacy efforts before regulatory agencies on behalf of clients, and has demonstrated skills in communications and issues management in a team setting. She is experienced in working with trade counsel on issues such as tariffs and countervailing duties.
As Executive Director, Freysinger has helped grow associations such as the National Pasta Association, Juice Products Association, National Institute of Oilseed Products, and the Washington, DC chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. She has also played a primary role in growing the National Candle Association as Executive Vice President, the Vacuum Insulation Association as Director of Membership and Committee Affairs, as well as the US Advanced Ceramics Association as Program Manager.
Prior to joining Kellen Company in 2003, she liaised with international organizations in Asia and South America on co-sponsored conferences and presentations.
Freysinger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Allegheny College, with graduate studies in Economics from George Mason University. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and is active in Arlington County, VA community affairs, where she and her family live.
