RALPH VASAMI, Esq.
Group Vice President
Ralph Vasami, Esq., Group Vice President and Director of Codes and Regulatory Affairs, has a broad background in engineering, business management, operations, finance, strategic planning and law.
Mr. Vasami started his career as a staff assistant at Fiberlux, an independent producer of compounds and extrusions for the construction market. While there, he eventually ran the day to day operations, rose to the position of President and negotiated the sale of the company from private owners to Ethyl Corporation (NYSE EY), then to Tedegar Corporation (NYSE TG), and finally to the Westlake Group, the current owner.
Mr. Vasami also is a pioneer in the vinyl window and door industry. As Chairman of the Vinyl Window & Door Institute, he was responsible for gaining Model Building Code acceptance for vinyl as a fenestration product. He also was instrumental in setting up testing and standards for the products as well as the current industry certification program.
Mr. Vasami received a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University and his law degree from Pace University. He is a member of the New York State Bar.
Mr. Vasami is engaged in a variety of activities for Kellen. As Director of Codes he is actively involved with leading our clients’ efforts to modify and enhance National Building Codes.
Mr. Vasami is also responsible for directing Kellen Communications new business development effort. Due to his extensive business background, he also is involved in many of Kellen’s operational functions. Mr. Vasami recently lead Kellen’s strategic planning session for senior managers. He is a member of Kellen’s senior management team.
