Peter A. Dicks
Vice President
Pete Dicks is a Vice President and Senior Account Executive for the Kellen Company. He has more than 25 years of experience in association management, with particular expertise in meetings and exhibitions management, marketing and public relations.
Mr. Dicks manages the activities of several client associations as its executive director and a senior consultant. Among his responsibilities are: administration, membership recruitment and retention, marketing, and meetings management.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Dicks served as vice president and general manager of Diversified Expositions, a division of Diversified Business Communications, a multi-national company which owns and operates international trade shows, conferences, symposia, business publications, broadcast television stations and cable television franchises. He has extensive experience launching and growing exhibitions and marketing events, as well as educational and training programs, on three continents. Mr. Dicks has additional experience in marketing and sales management positions, and as trade show manager for the American Society of Travel Agents. He began his association career in Washington, D.C., specializing in lobbying and government relations.
Mr. Dicks earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida, and is an active member in the International Association of Exposition Managers, the Trade Show Exhibitors Association and American Society of Association Executives. In 2003, Tradeshow Week Magazine named Mr. Dicks one of the “100 Most Influential People in the Trade Show Business.”
