PAMELA A. CHUMLEY
Group Vice President
Pamela Chumley has served as a Vice President and Account Executive of The Kellen Company. She has more than 20 years experience in the food industry, with expertise in quality assurance, research and development, regulatory and legislative affairs and association management.
Pam serves as chief executive for several Kellen Company association clients. Her primary responsibilities include administration, financial management, strategic planning facilitation, meetings and trade show management, public relations, client research and technical and regulatory affairs. She is experienced in issues management, membership communications and industry statistical and scientific research programs.
Prior to joining The Kellen Company in 1992, Pam managed the Quality Assurance Department of Harris Teeter Supermarkets and was responsible for the private label program, customer complaints, food safety training and compliance with various regulatory agencies including state health departments, the FDA and the USDA. She also held positions with Frito-Lay, Inc. and General Nutrition Corporation.
Pam earned a bachelor’s degree in Food Science from Clemson University and has completed work toward a master’s degree in Food Science. She is a member of a number of professional societies including the Institute of Food Technologists.
She currently serves as President of the International Jelly and Preserves Association, the Vinegar Institute and the Concord Grape Association, as Executive Director of the Association for Dressings and Sauces and the Horseradish Information Council, and as Executive Administrator for the International Flight Services Association.
